Intro

Why is there no iOS version?

Good News

Intro has a fully developed iOS version for Apple and is ready to be released on iOS devices!

Bad News

Apple’s app review team is determined to see our app rejected from App Store distribution!

But why?

Apple is enforcing a secret ban on all new dating apps. You can find this ban listed within Section 4.3(b) of the App Review Guidelines, where “dating” is listed as a saturated category. We’d like to point out: the term “dating”, dating features, and criteria for exemption all remain undefined. These terms are left vague in order to grant Apple’s app review team leeway to mislabel all new social apps as “dating” apps. If Apple’s app review team and appeal board call your app a dating app, they will reject it without due consideration. Intro is not a dating app, it is an introduction and social app for introverts, and yet it has been mislabeled as a dating app in order to keep Intro off of the App Store. We are happy to release Intro onto the App Store, however this is where we stand after months of discussion with Apple’s app review team.
